Samuel Thompson is a pianist, composer, and arranger recently graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Music in Composition. His performing experience spans vocal, choral, and instrumental accompaniment, choral singing, solo work, and jazz. You can find some of his credits here.
Samuel has sung as a bass in a number of choirs, including the APU Chamber Singers, which recently toured Ireland and the UK, and Sterling Ensemble, a semi-professional group. He has competed internationally at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, performed at ACDA and NCCO conferences, and contributed to studio albums such as Echoes of Grace: Choral Music of Patti Drennan.
Samuel’s creative work encompasses a wide range of mediums; he has written music for voice, choir, solo instruments, jazz combo, chamber ensembles, full orchestra, soundscapes and synths, and more.
